We all eat oats on regular basis, but in this Ingredient 101 installment we’re using them in skincare.
Avena Sativa (aka Oats) is a gentle and soothing ingredient that delivers and maintains moisture. Not only does it have antioxidant properties, but i can also have an anti-inflammatory effect! Overall, this ingredient is great for protecting the skin barrier, calming irritation, and supporting the skin.

All skin types can benefit from it ! It’s a well-rounded skincare ingredient that can meet the needs of different skin types. And because it’s so gentle, it can also work well with sensitive skin!
What benefits does it have on the skin?
This ingredient is moisturizing and calming– which are two important qualities to have in skincare products! It also contains antioxidants, protecting your skin from environmental damage.
Ps: Oats can also soothe breakouts and inflammation while reducing redness on the skin.
