Everyone needs a little boost of confidence from time to time. Feeling like a bad b 24/7 regardless of how you look is hard, and arguably impossible.
So here are 4 small habits you can start now to improve your self esteem and look –and feel– beautiful. (None of which involve wearing more makeup)
1. Dress your best, even when inconvenient
You heard it a thousand times: dress to impress!
Stop saving your favorite outfits for special occasions. Wear those outfits that suit you, make you feel not only good but confident in your own skin.
Putting in that extra effort into your physical appearance will not only boost your confidence, but also get your productivity and creativity juices flowing.
You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it… including confidence
This mindset will carry onto your shopping experience. You’re going to find yourself picking better outfits and buying pieces that you will actually wear because now you’re shopping for you and not looking for clothes that only look good on the mannequin.
2. Create a Skin Care Routine

When your skin looks good, you feel good.
You’re shedding skin cells throughout the day, going outside where all kinds of impurities will latch onto your face.
So it’s important to keep your skin glowing and in good condition.
An effective routine will prevent acne, treat wrinkles, and help keep your skin looking its best which is why you need a skin care routine that is perfect for you.

3. Keep Your Body Glowing

Sunshine, showers and body butters.
Don’t neglect your lower half. Good skin is great, but match it with a glowing body and your self esteem will improve tremendously.
If it’s summer where you live and the weather is good, go outside! Get that vitamin D and a sun-kissed glow.
Create a shower ritual that incorporates all kinds of butters and lotions to moisturize your skin and leave you smelling like a snack!
Use this time to massage your body and really appreciate it for what it is: a vessel that allows you to enjoy life.
4. Regularly Groom Your Nails

Whether you prefer them bare or polished, your nails deserve some love.
Try to make sure that, on a weekly basis, you have a day where you just pamper yourself and make sure your nails are looking clean and groomed. Although this action seems small, it will really boost your confidence.
You can go all out and get your manicure professionally done.
Or, you can DIY it.
Simply clean underneath your fingernails, clip off any hang nails, shape and file your nails, add a touch of polish if you prefer to do so, massage in some cuticle oil. And voila! Your nails are picture ready.
